What does the badge mean?
The seagull reflects Brighton's coastal identity — seagulls are ubiquitous on the Sussex coast and the club has been nicknamed "The Seagulls" since the 1970s. Blue and white stripes have been worn since the 1904s. "Albion" in the club name is an old poetic name for Britain, common in Victorian-era football club names.
