What does the badge mean?
The tower is Everton Lock-Up, an 18th century watchtower that stands in the Everton area of Liverpool and has been a local landmark for over 200 years. "Nil Satis Nisi Optimum" means "Nothing but the best is good enough" — one of the great club mottos in English football. The laurel wreaths denote sporting achievement.
