Fulham

Founded 1879

What does the badge mean?

White shield with a black and white chequered pattern, crest features a golden lion and the Thames riverside. Fulham's badge references their home on the banks of the Thames in southwest London — one of the most picturesque football grounds in England. Craven Cottage has stood on the riverbank since 1896. The black and white reflect the club's traditional colours, and the lion is drawn from the arms of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.
