What does the badge mean?

Blue shield with a running fox, "Leicester City FC" text What does it mean? The fox references Leicestershire's long association with fox hunting — the county was historically one of England's premier fox hunting areas, and "The Foxes" has been Leicester's nickname for over a century. Royal blue has been the club colour since the early 1900s.
